Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham...

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham... (Hindi: कभी ख़ुशी कभी ग़म... translationSometimes Happiness, Sometimes Sadness) is a Bollywood film released in India and countries with large NRI populations on 14 December 2001. It features Amitabh BachchanJaya BachchanShahrukh KhanKajolHrithik RoshanKareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji in a guest appearance. It is director Karan Johar's second movie (after Kuch Kuch Hota Hai). Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham is a lavish movie that deals with the issues of class distinction and the roles of women and men in marriage. It opens with a grown Rohan (Hrithik Roshan) finishing his boarding school education and returning to visit his grandmothers before he goes home for Diwali. His grandmothers, haunted by the memory of Rohan's estranged brother, Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan), sit Rohan down, and in their grief, tell him the story of his family.

Parineeta

Parineeta (Hindi: परिणीता, BengaliপরিণীতাUrdu: پرنیتا, translation: The Married Woman) is a Bollywood musical adaptation of the 1914Bengali novella, Parineeta by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay. Directed by debutant Pradeep Sarkar,[2] the film was based upon a screenplay by the film's producer, Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The movie featured Vidya BalanSaif Ali Khan and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. The film primarily revolves around the lead characters, Lolita and Shekhar. Since childhood, Shekhar and Lolita have been friends and slowly this friendship blossoms into love. A series of misunderstandings surface and both of them are separated with the conniving schemes of Shekhar's father. The plot deepens with the arrival of Girish who supports Lolita's family.

Anjaana Anjaani

Anjaana Anjaani (Hindiअन्जाना अन्जानीAnjānā Anjānī ?EnglishStranger, Stranger) is a Hindi Romantic film directed by Siddharth Anand, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Zayed Khan. Anjaana Anjaani is the story of Kiara (Priyanka Chopra), and Aakash (Ranbir Kapoor). Kiara is based in San Francisco, while Aakash is a New York City boy. Aakash has to clear a huge loan of $12 million, which he is unable to. Unable to find any means, suicide seems the only option to him. He decides to jump off the George Washington Bridge. This is when he bumps into Kiara, who is also bound to commit suicide because she caught her fiance Kunal (Zayed Khan) cheating on her. They both try to put an end to their lives but are deterred by the coastguards. Still keen on ending their lives, Aakash deliberately gets hit by a car and Kiara falls off the bridge and breaks her neck. This proves to be yet another failed attempt and they end up in hospital together. While recovering, both get to know each other. Continuing their attempts at suicide, they both try to kill themselves five times, by all means possible, but all in vain. They decide to end their lives on 31st of December 2009. With 20 days to go, they decide to fulfill their unfinished wishes and thus begins their journey.

It was loosely adapted from the novel Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat3 Idiots stars Aamir KhanR. MadhavanSharman JoshiKareena KapoorOmi VaidyaParikshit Sahni and Boman Irani. This is a story of two friends who embark on a quest for a lost buddy. On this journey, they encounter a long forgotten bet, a wedding they must crash, and a funeral that goes impossibly out of control.

Wake Up Sid



Wake Up Sid is a 2009 Hindi romantic comedy film.[4] It is directed by Ayan Mukerji, produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, distributed by UTV Motion Pictures, and has visual effects by the Prime Focus Group.[5] The film takes place in contemporary Bombay and tells the story of spoiled, careless rich-kid Sid Mehra (Ranbir Kapoor), a college student who is taught the meaning of life by Aisha (Konkona Sen Sharma), an aspiring writer from Calcutta.
